CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2024-25 has been released on the official website cbseacademic.nic.in. You can download subject-wise CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2024-25 PDF from our article also. CBSE class 12 curriculum focuses on 7 major learning areas – Languages, Humanities, Mathematics, Science, Skill Subjects, General Studies, and Health and Physical Education. A student have to study 5 compulsory subjects in class 12. Apart from the compulsory subjects, you can choose a 6th optional subject also.
The maximum mark for a subject in CBSE Class 12 Exams is 100. These total marks are further divided into 70 and 30 for theory and practical components. For subjects without practicals, the marks are divided into theory (80) and internal assessment (20).
CBSE has also announced certain changes in CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern in accordance with NEP 2020. As per the new exam pattern, students will get 40% competency-based questions, 20% MCQs, and 40% descriptive-type questions in their final exams.

Although there has been no specific age criteria to register and take CBSE class XII examination, the minimum age is usually considered to be 17 years. I suggest you to visit the school where you want to get admission for detailed information.
Yes, there are some minor changes in the 2022-23 CBSE 12th syllabus. This year there will be only one exam, but there will be a suspension of 30 percent. CBSE has not made any changes in the structure of the exam pattern.

The marking scheme of the CBSE 12th exam depends on each subject from the syllabus. In general, the overall marks for each subject will be 100. These 100 marks are divided into two parts. 80 percent of marks are allotted to the theory paper and the remaining 20 percent is for the practical exam.
