CUSAT offers MBA program in both full-time and part-time modes. At CUSAT Kochi, the full-time MBA program is offered for 2 years further segregated into 4 semesters. However, the Part-time MBA at CUSAT is offered for 3 years structured in 6 semesters. CUSAT MBA Admission 2024 is based on the Common Admission Test scores conducted by CUSAT. Furthermore, the university also accepts KMAT /CMAT /CAT(IIM) Scores followed by GD & PI.

Seats available for the full-time mode MBA program are 120 including all the categories of students. The tuition fee per semester the institute charges for the MBA full-time program is INR 30,400.

CUSAT MBA Eligibility Criteria

The minimum requirements for applying for MBA. Full Time/Part Time Programme at CUSAT Kochi is as follows:

Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates belonging to Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible to apply if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying degree.
SEBC candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to the non-creamy layer are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for a qualifying degree.
Valid mark in any one of the following Management Aptitude Tests

KMAT conducted by CEE, Govt. of Kerala 2024 only (conducted before the closure of the application for the M.B.A. program of SMS, CUSAT).
C-MAT of AICTE 2024 only (conducted before the closure of the application for the M.B.A. program of SMS, CUSAT).
IIM-CAT November 2023 Only.
The score obtained in any examination after the closure of the application date of M.B.A. at SMS shall not be considered.

CUSAT MBA Selection Criteria

Candidates must register for CUSAT CAT-2024 through this portal and complete the application process.
Candidates with a valid KMAT/CMAT/CAT(IIM)Score can apply for MBA programs. These candidates will be ranked based on KMAT/CMAT/CAT(IIM) Score, Group Discussion and Interview.
Candidates, without valid scores for the time being can register now and they will be provided the opportunity to enter the valid score of KMAT & CMAT before the closure of the application for the MBA program of SMS, CUSAT.

SMS CUSAT is one of the oldest Management Schools in the country and the current MBA program they are offering is highly industry-oriented with well-structured academic pedagogy. The college has one of the highest student-faculty ratios, approximately 4:1 which is great. All the faculty members are highly qualified and talented professionals having in-depth knowledge in their domain area. SMS follows the Out Based Learning Pattern (Bloomberg) and hence it provides great exposure to the outside world and current industry trends for the students than just what's in the textbooks. SMS has a semester-based exam pattern and exams would be on time and saying about the difficulty of exams I would rather say that you know the core basis of what you are learning and can link that to the current environment around you (as the questions would be related to the current trends and happenings), the exams would not be a tough wall.

We follow Outcome Based Education which is a syllabus based on practical concerns. Exams are conducted in a timely manner and it was not that difficult to pass
