Last minute JEE Main 2024 Preparation Tips

With only a few days to the exam, you need to stop memorizing anything new from the syllabus and stick to solving JEE Main chapter-wise PYQs, mock tests, test series and revision.

Based on JEE Main trend analysis, it is easier to get good scores in the Chemistry and Physics papers while the marks in the Mathematics paper determine your rank. Analyzing JEE Mains Session 1 question papers thoroughly will help you identify the difficulty level, question types, and topics with higher weightage in each subject.

According to our experts, reviewing the basic concepts and formulas in NCERT textbooks is important. Pay close attention to diagrams, reactions, and mechanisms. The ‘General Organic Chemistry’ alone had a total of 44 questions asked across 10 exam shifts. Mathematics had engthy calculations. Even with direct formula-based questions, the calculations were pretty lengthy. Therefore, practice under timed conditions to avoid calculation errors and manage time effectively.

Can i get a NIT college in 75 percentile
R
rency daniel

With a 75 percentile on the JEE Mains, you might not be able to get into an NIT or IIIT, but you could be able to get into other colleges that accept scores in the 75–90 percentile range. A percentile score of 85–90 is usually required for admission to elite NITs and IIITs.

Sir, actually i want to register for my jee mains session 2 which will we going to conduct on april 2024..i was totally forgot to register in the given tym period.. Hope for any other option.. Waiting for your response.. Thank you..
R
rency daniel

For JEE Mains 2024 session 2, registration is already closed. The window for applications was February 2, 2024, to March 4, 2024. The examination window was set for April 4–15, 2024.

Its unfortunate that you overlooked registering within the allotted time. The National Testing Agency (NTA) hasn't, however, declared that the registration deadline will be extended.

You might have to wait until the following year to sit the exam if you are unable to register for JEE Mains 2024 session 2. JEE Mains are often held by the NTA in April and May twice a year.

Do not be disheartened; you can begin getting ready for JEE Mains 2025 in the interim. For both sessions, the exam syllabus is the same. The syllabus is available on the NTA website.
