New Delhi: IIM Bangalore has inaugurated the 2024-25 batch of its Executive Postgraduate Programme in Management (EPGP). The Chief Guest of the event, Sukanya Roy, Director of NASSCOM welcomed 83 students from all over India to the EPGP program.
Addressing the students of IIM Bangalore, Sukanya Roy said, “India is set to progress at a tremendous pace in the next 20 years, and every sector, be it healthcare, education, telecom or others, will transform. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of you. Look at preparing yourself to play this crucial role in the transformation of the country.”
Hostel Officer Komala Devi, Senior Executive Vanitha Anand from the EPGP, and members of the EPGP Office team also attended the event. There were orientation sessions for the incoming batch, which will continue until April 5, 2024.
Learning Curriculum of IIM Bangalore EPGP Program 2024
Prof. Ashok Thampy, Chairperson of the Executive Postgraduate Programme in Management and Faculty in the Finance & Accounting Area at IIM Bangalore, presented an overview of the program.
He said, “EPGP is one of the top-rated MBA programs not only in India but in the world. The program has evolved over the years. The Electives are integrated providing you the opportunity to take a number of courses. It also increases the program's complexity as a lot of coordination is needed, and this is where the EPGP Office comes into play.”
Opportunities at IIM Bangalore Unveiled by Sukanya Roy
On this occasion, the event's chief guest spoke about the various career opportunities after completing IIM Bangalore’s EPGP Program 2024. She talked about various career opportunities available at IIMB and advised the students to build networks and relationships for better opportunities.
At the end of her speech, a question-and-answer session was held, during which she prioritized networking and engaging in project work. When asked about her main lesson from the program that aids her in staying motivated, she stated that it is her will to learn continuously. She also encouraged all to identify the learning approach that best fits them.
