CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2024: CBSE has uploaded the revised CBSE date sheet 2024 class 12 on January 4, 2024. However, there are no major changes in the date sheet. As decided earlier, CBSE class 12 exams will be conducted from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Only the Fashion Studies paper has been shifted from March 11 to March 21, 2024.

CBSE has provided sufficient gap between any two papers. Majorly, students from all three streams will appear for English as their first exam on February 22, 2024. For Science stream students, there is around 4-5 days gap between their subjects. Students with PCB subjects have 15-days preparatory gap for their Biology paper. - All the papers will be conducted in a single shift only.
- Each exam will be held for 3 hours from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

CBSE to Conduct Special Exams for Students Attending Sports Events & Olympiads
CBSE has announced to conduct special exams for students who miss CBSE board exams due to participation in any national or international sports event, or international Olympiads.
Such students will get another opportunity to appear for CBSE Class 12 Exams. However, the board has not specified the special exam dates yet. The dates are likely to be informed by March.

The practical exams for class 12 commenced on January 1, 2024. The practical exams were conducted in all the regular session schools affiliated with CBSE. CBSE does not release any proper practical date sheet for class 12 2024, however, it specifies the dates within which schools can conduct class 12 practical exams.
- Practical examinations are conducted in schools only.
- The dates and timings of the practicals are decided by the school authorities. Students need to contact their teachers to know the detailed schedule of practical exams.

CBSE Class 12 Practical Exam Guidelines
As per the notice available on the official website, the following are some important instructions for CBSE Class 12 practical exams:
- Schools must collect sufficient number of practical answer books before the practical exams begin.
- The detailed schedule of the practical exam containing dates, batches, timings, etc. must be informed to students and parents by the respective schools.
- The external examiner for the practical exams is appointed only by the board. Schools are not allowed to make any alternate arrangements.
- Schools must contact the allotted external examiner timely and should make all the required arrangements for the conduct of practical exams.
- Students must appear for the practical exam of a subject only on the specified date and as per the batch allotted to them by the schools. No student can take the practical exam on any other day or with another batch.
- The practical marks shall be uploaded on the same day after the conclusion of the exam.
- Schools, internal examiners, and external examiners are directed to upload the practical marks correctly as no change will be allowed in the marks once uploaded.

CBSE Class 12 Practical Exams for Winter-Bound Schools
Schools situated in winter-bound areas generally remain closed in January because of extreme weather conditions. For such schools, practical exams are conducted before January. This year, CBSE Class 12 Practical Exams for winter-bound schools were held from November 14 to December 14, 2023.
- Schools must ensure that no student whose name is not submitted in the LOC submitted by the school appears for the practical exam.
- Schools must contact the regional office for the appointment of external examiners and observers.
- After the successful completion of the practical exams, schools must send the answer books to the regional offices.

CBSE will conduct exams for the academic session 2023-24 on an annual basis this year. There is no term-wise division for the current session. Hence, the board will not release any term I and term II date sheets for CBSE Class 12. The final exams will be held in February-March.

This year there will be only one exam, but there will be a suspension of 30 percent.
