CBSE Class 10 Exams commenced on February 15, 2024. The exams will be continued for a total of 27 days till March 13, 2024. Students appearing for the exams must carry their admit cards and school ID card to the center.
Each day, the exams will be held in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. As mentioned in the admit card, you must report to the exam center at 10 AM. The invigilator will start distributing the question papers at 10:15 AM. No student will be allowed inside the exam center after this time.
You must appear for the exams as per the dates mentioned in CBSE Class 10 Revised Date Sheet 2024. With the Mathematics paper on March 11, CBSE concluded all major subject papers for class 10. On average, the difficulty level of the papers was easy to moderate this year.

There are certain major changes in CBSE Class 10 Exam Pattern for the session 2023-24. This year, the board will include 50% competency-based questions, 20% MCQs, and 30% subjective-type questions in CBSE Class 10 Exams 2024.
CBSE has also announced that it will conduct special exams for candidates who miss their board exams because of any national or international sports event or olympiad. However, it has not yet announced any dates for special exams. They are likely to be held after the board exams are over.
CBSE Board Exams 2024-25
CBSE board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be held twice a year from the year 2025 onwards. The decision has been made following the New Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 released on August 23. NCF 2023 is a part of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020).

CBSE Class 10 Exam 2024: Passing Marks
The passing marks for the CBSE class 10 exams 2024 are 33% in each subject. This means that a student must score at least 33% of the total marks in each subject in order to pass the exam.
