Placement Experience:

Our college's placement scene is quite robust, although we don't have campus placements per se. Students typically become eligible for internships and off-campus placements starting from the fifth semester onwards. Various reputable companies, including tech giants and financial institutions, visit our campus to recruit students. While the number of offers made varies each year, the average package hovers around X per annum, with some companies offering significantly higher packages based on the profile offered. Although we don't have exact figures for the percentage of students placed, a substantial portion of our graduating class secures placements through off-campus drives and internships. As for my plans post-graduation, I aim to pursue further studies or gain industry experience through internships to enhance my employability and broaden my career prospects.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

At Delhi University, investing in your education pays off. For my BA program in Economics + Computer Application, the annual tuition fee is approximately ?11,415, slightly higher due to the practical computer component. Financial aid is available, with scholarships for families earning less than 4 lakh annually, covering up to half of the fees. Beyond academics, the college offers diverse opportunities. The placement cell facilitates job placements and internships, while various societies cater to interests like debating, marketing, and dance. For community-minded students, the National Service Scheme offers fulfilling avenues for giving back.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Alright, so at Delhi University, they're all about giving you bang for your buck. For my BA program (Economics + Computer Application), I'm shelling out around ?11,415 a year. It's a bit more than some courses 'cause of that practical side with computers – gotta pay to play, right? But hey, if money's tight, there's some help on offer. They've got scholarships for students whose families are bringing in less than 4 lakh a year. Get qualified, and you could be getting half your fees back. And hey, college life's not just about hitting the books. The placement cell's there to hook you up with all kinds of gigs and internships. Plus, there's a bunch of societies for everything from debates to marketing to busting moves on the dance floor. Oh, and if you're into giving back, there's this cool society called the National Service Scheme – all about doing good in the community.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So, the new curriculum's pretty cool. Now we've got all these different course combos to choose from, like mixing economics with computer science – something we couldn't do before. Plus, they've thrown in these extra courses to boost our skills and add value, setting us up nicely for whatever comes next. But hey, it's not all smooth sailing. The class schedule's all over the place, which ends up wasting time, you know? And the teaching style could use a bit more practical stuff to help us really get it. And don't even get me started on the exams. We've got these semester tests twice a year, and honestly, they're a bit of a rollercoaster. You study what the teachers say is important, then boom, the exam throws you a curveball. It's like, what's up with that?

While thinking about college life , we need to know that college is not alll about studies , it is also about having fun . But neither is college life alll about fun , it's about studies as well . But u get to have a pretty good social life in college, you will have many events taking place throughout the year. There will be Freshers parties , college events like concerts, webinars , seminars , reunion events and many many more . Other than that , for all the bookworms, there will always be libraries accessible to all the students. Variety of books are available, u can find books related to almost all subjects there . The classrooms also has nice and advanced facilities. Teachers often teaches with the help of detailed power-point presentations , sometimes movies and videos. Classes will also be very interactive. Thus helps the students to have a broader understanding of the course they are studying in . Students can also take part in various university and college level sports events

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The complete cost of this course will be roughly around INR 2,90,880 for 4 years ( as per the New Education Policy ) and the tuition fees differs as usual . The regularity and rate of a hike in the course fees completely depends on the college authorities . There are various scholarships or financial aids that are available to students. Two of the most known are Kanyashree Prakalpa and Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. There are various scholarships provided by the Central Government as well . But while applying for the various scholarships available we need to keep in mind that we have to understand that these scholarships are solely merit based . So it depends on the result of the candidate or the student who is applying for this . So, we have to give our best in all stages of life to get help or assistance in our future . But one does not have to worry much , because there are various and numerous Scholarships that are provided to students. It is best to know the eligibility criteri

But in the MBA program, there is a placement held on campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to do a graduation from distance learning because I am preparing for the civil exam and Du Sol is the best option for that...This university helps you to guide you for future challenges and makes you perfect for the world. The suggestion I would suggest is that the classes should be held frequently and on a regular basis. Exams are held twice a year in the gap of 5-6 months and it's not that difficult. An average student can easily pass that by studying sincerely one week before the exam

Aryabhatta College has a good Ambience and a nice overall campus. Although comparative with other colleges it is quite small. Otherwise many activities take place day to day. Nearby are good hangout places such as Satya Niketan and we all hangout there very often. The college incorporates good amount of societies and clubs in which many students take interest and enjoy their college life. In college the Nss and Ncc are also very active. Our annual fest Elixir is going to happen quite soon, it is a new college which is why the fests and activities in this college are not big as compared to other du colleges.

Earlier due to some problems the annual fest was cancelled in our college for many years but from this year we are having an annual fest along with the face that are regularly annually held by all of the societies of the college all of the clubs as well as all of the departments that are present in the college. Facilities provided by the college are top class and there's nothing to worry about but there are some little details that the constant needs to work on apart from that the campus life is very good the garden the ground and everything is very good to sit with your friends and have a nice time. There are various clubs and societies for students to join on the very first day the enter the college as well as the audition state place after 1st year as well and for sports people there are many groups was different sports including football cricket and volleyball etc.

I have BA programme (history +political Science) as my course and I am very much satisfied with the same because both of the subjects are taught with the same importance and another aspect is that one of the subjects is something I am good at and the other subject is really really important for my UPSC preparation this is why I chose this course. The faculty members the professors and the students all the seniors are very much supportive and to be honest they actually teach us the composure to the real world, the actual world. The frequency of exams and the particular tests that are taken in between is actually very good but something that needs improvement is that the teachers need to come up a level and teach everything with practically rather than the traditional methods and system.

I chose BA Programme (History and Political Science) so that I could study two subjects with same importance. One subject is something I m good at and interested into while the other is mandatory for my UPSC preparation. Although it's just graduation but the course and the teachers with their experiences do let us get composure of the real world and what we might face in the near future. The teachers still need to get a little bit high up with their teaching methods and strategies by focusing more on practicality rather than traditional methodology and academics. The difficulty level of exams depends on one's preparation only and the frequency is rather improved in the 3rd semesters.

Ques. How is life at JNU for MA students? Is it only hectic or do students have fun too?

● Top Answer By Akriti Banerjee on 04 Jul 23

Ans. My friend pursued his M.A. from JNU and according to him, he spent the best years of his life at JNU. He went to many well-renowned colleges and universities in the USA, however, JNU is unparalleled. At JNU, you will learn even when you are having fun. Female students feel safe on campus. Male students are respectful towards their female counterparts. There are no whistles or cat-calling incidents on campus. Females can walk fearlessly from one end of the campus to the other, even at midnight.  Life for M.A. students is very hectic at JNU. It is more challenging than one can expect. If you do not maintain a healthy work-life balance, you will end up spending all your time sitting in a corner with your laptop and books. Even your group discussions will end up being solely about studies. If you feel that it will be difficult for you to create a healthy balance between studies and enjoyment, you can join JNU as a Ph.D. student rather than as an M.A. student, you will then get more time to enjoy and experience life at JNU.Read more

Ques. Can I apply for LLB after graduating B.A through IGNOU correspondence study?

● Top Answer By Devraj Mehta on 03 Nov 22

Ans. The eligibility criteria for various universities vary. Because IGNOU is a recognized university, you can certainly apply for admission to pursue LLB if you take the CET. The Bar Council of India does not recognize law degree programs completed through distance education, so IGNOU does not offer 3-year LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, or LLM programs. It should be noted that no entrance exam is required for IGNOU law programs (except for Ph.D. in Law). Candidates must simply register for IGNOU law programs by completing the application form and submitting their application fee, as well as the course fee.Read more

Ques. What is BPP from IGNOU?

Ques. Is there a semester system in IGNOU for BA courses?

● Top Answer By Anil Karki on 28 Oct 22

Ans. No, there is no semester system in IGNOU for BA courses. In IGNOU students are enrolled in two cycles (January and June). The submission of assignments and TEE (Term End Examination) is scheduled once a year. Although assignments can be submitted only once a year, there is a high chance that if you fail to appear in May or December TEE, you can appear for that particular subject on another cycle. For example, you enrolled in this course in 2021. If you wish to appear for June 2022 TEE, you are required to submit the assignments by March 30 2022. If you fail to appear or pass the TEE, you can appear for the same exam in December 2022.Read more

Ques. Is it a good idea to graduate from IGNOU while simultaneously preparing for UPSC CSE? Exactly how tough is it to get a BA degree from IGNOU?

● Top Answer By Saurabh Mishra on 10 Nov 20

Ans. Indira Gandhi National Open University is a public university approved by NCTE and AICTE. It offers a number of open learning programs and is well known and recognized among a number of different organizations like the Association of Indian Universities, therefore, doing a B.A. degree from here is a good choice. The following points highlight important aspects of obtaining a B.A degree from the institute. Academics: The BA degrees at IGNOU offer a wide variety of core disciplines in subjects like Economics, Sociology, and Public Administration with a lot of the course work overlapping with UPSC preparations. The exams for the coursework are also designed such that they benefit the student if they are appearing for other exams like UPSC. IGNOU is known for its well-founded courses that ensure the best interests of the student. Depending on if one plans to choose a distance learning or open course degree, one can choose to appear for UPSC. BA degree from IGNOU: Obtaining a BA degree from the university depends upon if you are a part-time student at the institute or committed to full-time study. The former situation might be a little tough on the student. Students are continuously evaluated with assignments, marks from which are counted for the final result. Assignments carry a weightage of 30% of the total result. Students are barred from appearing for end term examinations if they miss an assignment. The major evaluation component is the term-end evaluation system which carries a total of 70% weightage. These exams are conducted twice a year. Students are expected to study from the course material provided and answer accordingly to the point. Most importantly, ensure that one is registered for the exam, failing which results are not declared. In conclusion, you can definitely prepare for the UPSC CSE at the same time as your BA degree. While it is not very tough to clear the BA degree, a habit of regular study will definitely help one obtain it with a good result.Read more
