JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration has been extended. JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration last date and time is March 4, 2024 (upto 10:50 PM). Earlier, the last date was March 2, 2024. NTA JEE Main 2024 registration link is active at jeemain.nta.ac.in 2024 or jeemainsession2.ntaonline.in. Both session 1 and new candidates can register for the exam through JEE Main login 2024.
Candidates who have already applied for session 1 can register for NTA JEE Mains 2024 session 2 using their previous application number and password. They may choose the paper, medium, state code of eligibility, JEE Main 2024 exam center for session 2, educational qualification, and pay the registration fee. Meanwhile, new candidates need to register using Digilocker or Aadhar enrollment number.
While filling up JEE Main session 2 application form 2024, you must upload the required documents in the right format as determined by the National Testing Agency. Is 75% criteria removed from JEE Main 2024?

How to apply for JEE Main 2024?
JEE Main application form fill up involves registration, application form fill up, uploading of documents followed by fee payment. Step-by-step instructions to apply for JEE Main are as follows:

Candidate needs to select any one of the following to register for JEE (Main):
- Create a Digi locker account through the NAD portal. Or;

How to Create a Digilocker Account for Students?
Step 1: Go to the DigiLocker official website, nad.digilocker.gov.in/students
Step 2: Click on the link ‘Create Your DigiLocker Account’ available on the homepage.
Step 3: You will be directed to another page where you need to click on the ‘Sign Up’ tab.
Step 4: After this, a sign-up page will appear where you need to provide details like you name, DoB, category, phone number, and email address.
Step 5: Next, you are required to enter your unique 12-digit Aadhaar number. After this step, you will have two options – One Time Password (OTP) and a Fingerprint. You can choose any one of these two and proceed further.

What is identification number in JEE Mains?
JEE Main 2024 registration requires candidates to register using Digilocker, Academic Bank of Credits ID or Aadhaar Enrolment Number/Aadhaar Number. To register using one of the given options, candidates are required to enter their identification number and also their parent’s identification number.
This identification number in JEE Mains can either be the Permanent Account Number (PAN) or the Aadhaar Number, a 12-digit unique identification number.

JEE Main 2024 Registration: Latest News
NTA has made changes in the JEE Main registration this year. As per the official notification by NTA, candidates applying for session 2 for the first time must register through Digilocker or ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit). JEE Main 2024 Application Form: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JEE Main 2024, candidates are expected to fulfill the following eligibility criteria. Candidates’ candidature will be canceled if any discrepancy is found later by the authority.
Age Limit: NTA has not prescribed any age limit for JEE Main 2024. Candidates can appear for the exam irrespective of their age.
Year of passing the qualifying exam: Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or are appearing in 2024 are eligible to appear in JEE Mains 2024.
75% criteria in JEE Mains 2024: General/ OBC candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the aggregate in the Class 12 or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. SC/ ST candidates must have secured a minimum of 65% marks in the aggregate in the Class 12 or equivalent examination.
Subjects in qualifying exam: Candidates must have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in the Class 12 or equivalent examination.
No. of Attempts in JEE Main: JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year, session 1 in January and Session 2 in April. Candidates can appear in either of the sessions or in both. But as per the conducting body, candidates can take JEE Main exam three times in consecutive years.
Apart from the above-mentioned JEE Main 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates interested in B. Arch/B. Planning will also be appearing for Paper 2. The eligibility take the paper 2 exam are as follows:

Jamia Millia Islamia University does not provide coaching classes for JEE Main exam. But the university accepts JEE Main score for admission in its B.Tech courses.
There are total 25 JEE Main Exam Centers located outside India in various countries. To get the list center located outside the country, visit JEE MAIN EXAM CENTRE
One can make the payment of JEE main application fee through online mode only by using either Debit Card or Credit Card or Net Banking. One can even use UPI and PayTM for application fee payment.
