Room Rent per month
Heidelberg (sharing)* €250-€350

The cost of living in Heidelberg is comparatively higher than cost of living in most parts of Germany, hence, international students should be financially adept before choosing to pursue an education here.

  • Dislikes:
  • Nothing to dislike. Take your time to adjust and socialise, be open to experiences. Possible that lectures are in different buildings that would require the student to take a bus and attend the lectures.

Great experience great people very supportive, great intercultural experience.

Fees:

1500 euros per semester but there are other unis that are free of cost.

  • Dislikes:
  • Sometimes you need to do everything on your own like finding your apartment, opening your bank account, applying for your residence permit, etc after coming here. It would be nice if someone guides you in all this bureaucracy-related work.

It is a very good university for a PhD in life sciences and medicine or any other biology-related field. The education, facilities, infrastructure, and funding is really good here.

Fees:

180 euros per semester.
